Dear Travis Shaner,
Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.
At first I would like to confirm whether you are using Teams desktop client for Mac. If so please kindly try to check whether there is anything different .
In the meantime, we would like to know if you have tried the following settings and by toggling off and on to try it again:
To customize your notifications, tapMore
>Settings >Notifications. From there tapOpen settings to access your iOS settings for Teams. Then tapNotifications >Allow notifications to determine how you want to view Teams notifications.
What's more, please also confirm that your Teams app and your IOS system are up to date, and if not, try updating them to check the results. Please also try switching between different network environments to check if the results are progressing.
To narrow down the scope of question, I would like to collect your complete screenshot which includes this notification so that I can do further research.
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation, Your patience and cooperation will be highly appreciated. Hope you all the best!
Sincerely,
Kerry Chen | Microsoft Community Moderator

I am having the same issue and have taken appropriate steps to resolve.
1.To customize your notifications, tap More
> Settings > Notifications . From there tap Open settings to access your iOS settings for Teams. Then tap Notifications > Allow notifications to determine how you want to view Teams notifications.
2.Verified that everything is up-to-date
3. Deleted and redownloaded
4. Restarted
5. Factory reset
It sounds like it is something on Team's end.

For the last few weeks, I keep getting 1-2 notifications every hour that I need to "Open teams to continue receiving notifications for xxx@****" on from my iOS app. I've tried resetting the iOS network settings, iOS notification settings for the team app, and the various notification settings inside the Teams app. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the teams app.
I'm currently using iOS 15.5, and Teams version 4.10.1 Build 4.10.77.2022103101/0609 and I'm using an Office 365 work account.
I also have this issue. I have tried resetting my MFA, logging in and out, reinstalling etc. Alongside this there has been a noticeable delay in sync between mobile device (iPhone 11 iOS 15.5) and work system's teams.
I would like to add that it appears these notifications are appearing IN PLACE of a real notification. In my case, these are coming through whenever I receive a teams message. At first I thought this was just coming up twice a minute (we are a busy team) but turns out it was just every time a team member sent a message into the chat. So Rest assured when you get the ping, it's in place of a genuine notification (in my case at least!)

I've started getting the same issue as well starting yesterday - my settings are the same as Travis Shaner's. The only recent change on my account is that I set the MFA for my account to "Enforced" to test the creation of app passwords.

iOS 15.5
Teams Info:
Version 4.10.1
Build 4.10.77.2022103101/0609

UPDATE: noticed yesterday (7/5/22) that notifications appear to be working again. Waiting on confirmation from other affected users but my own device is now showing full notifications on both the lock screen and notification area.
App hasn't updated either - all identifiers in my original post are unchanged.

Looks like I have found a way to get things back to normal for me.
1) I removed the app.
2) Rebooted the phone
3) Re-installed the app
4) accepted all the new requests to allow notifications
5) Logged back into my account
Notifications are back to normal now.
Hope this works for others.
